What would you do if you lost everything in a house fire?

Hi there.

This isn’t a normal blog post, because life isn’t always normal.

Meet Sharon.

My friend Sharon Angle, who teaches at Foothills Music Academy, had a house fire last night here in the Seattle area. And lost everything. She’s a renter and sadly didn’t have insurance to cover her belongings. Luckily, she’s ok – but she needs some help.

In addition to normal household items, Sharon’s going to need money and/or donations to replace her Piano, Guitar, Keyboard, and collection of sheet music. She is also looking for a small studio apartment for her and her two cats and two small dogs; and for a studio space in Bothell and Kirkland for her other Eastside students.

My wife and I are working on a fund where people can send donations, and for the meanwhile if you’re interested please email me or Tweet. I’d really appreciate your interest and help.
