Accept Occasional Stupidity as a Way of Life

Curt Rosengren eloquently describes stumbling to learn a new skill as a metaphor for how we can improve ourselves broadly. Occasional stupidity only feels stupid if you let it - that is, it’s important to remember that learning new skills is a process of continual iteration - and that stopping is the only stupid thing when you’re trying to learn something new.

Maybe that’s why people are happier as they get older. There’s more to learn.
