I’m riding in the Tour De Cure bicycle ride to support research in the fight against diabetes. I’m riding 50 miles to motivate myself to do other things that seem like large goals, but are really groups of smaller goals.
Impressive gains in treating diabetes like the one reported in today’s USA Today are scientific feats that even ten or twenty years ago wouldn’t have been possible. Staying healthy through physical exercise is still a good way too, and I’m happy to be a part of this effort.
