I posted some new sketchbook items. Quite a varied bunch really.
Fisher Price Horses, other childhood toys and childhood-inspired drawings. I tried bidding on a Lights Alive, but to no avail.
Add in some random sketching from my recent plane ride and you have an interesting bunch of stuff.

Cat v. Chicken

I’m not sure I ever thought that I would be the potential owner of a homeless chicken. Such a bird has been visiting our yard (perhaps in pursuit of the rich melange of fruit snacks, stale popcorn, and goldfish crackers that litter our driveway). So, the bird has been visiting, and one of our cats has taken notice. Who will win?

Sketchbook Rising

Sketchbooks allow me to “stretch” in ways I wouldn’t do if I started on the initial project first. The freeness and play of the throwaway paper is fun! I like how making sketches influences the final results by showing me ideas I didn’t know I had.
